  • We offer heated underground parking, with a height clearance of 7 feet 4 inches. A complimentary carwash is available. As part of our commitment to the environment, the Peaks Hotel & Suites is proud to offer 2 electric vehicle charging stations. For larger vehicles, we offer outside parking at the rear of the hotel. Parking availability is not guaranteed.

    Due to limited parking, we can only accommodate one vehicle per room.

  • Check-in is any time after 4 pm. Check-out is 11 am. An early check-in or late check-out can be requested and is dependent on availability.

  • A pre-authorization for our damage deposit is required for each room reservation which will be applied to your credit card on the day of check in, the pre-authorization is $50 per night.

  • Located in the parkade, your own personal lock is needed for this storage unit. Please be mindful of the floors/walls and where you store your adventure gear inside the unit.

    There are bike racks located in the parkade. However, we do not provide locks.

    For your own safety and the safety of others, storage of the gear will not be permitted inside your room.

  • The Peaks Hotel & Suites is not a pet friendly hotel. There will be a fine of $500 if evidence of any guests found to have a pet in their room.

    • Yes, we welcome service dogs at our hotel without any additional fees, as long as the dog is trained to perform tasks for a guest with a disability. Upon check-in, we may ask if the dog is required due to a disability and what tasks it has been trained to perform. Emotional support animals (ESAs) are not considered service dogs under Alberta law, but we can make exceptions for ESAs with a cleaning fee of $175 plus GST. If you have any questions or require more information, our front desk team is happy to assist!

  • The Peaks Hotel & Suites is a smoke free zone. Smoking is only permitted in the designated. areas. These areas are located on the side of the building. Smoking on balconies/patios is not permitted. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the room and will result in a $500 fine.

  • Room service is available between the hours of 7am – 11am and 5pm – 10pm. A $3 room service fee and 18% gratuity will be applied. Please dial “2410” from your room to reach our room service team.

  • We do not offer breakfast onsite but across the street at Banff Park lodge, Crave restaurant offers breakfast. Breakfast is served from 7am – 11am Monday through Friday and from 7am – 12pm Saturday & Sunday.

    Hours: Daily from 6am – 11pm. Quiet Hours: 9pm – 11pm.

    Our renovated pool area includes a swimming pool, plunge pool, Eucalyptus steam room and hot tub for you to unwind after a day of adventure. Lockers are available free of charge to store your belongings. We also offer an exercise area including treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike and free weights.

  • Yes. We offer daily housekeeping stay service that includes emptying of garbage & recycling, replenishing of amenities (coffee, tea, shampoo, towels, etc.) and making the bed.

    Full linen change stay service also includes full clean of your bathroom, and it is scheduled after every 3rd night. This full linen change stay service is moved by a day earlier when it falls one day before check-out. E.g. 4-night stay receives linen change stay service after 2nd night. 5-night stay receives stay service after 3rd night.

  • All our rooms have a fridge.

    Microwaves are only available in our Loft Suites, Junior Suites, Junior Studios and Summit Suites.

  • Our hotel is conveniently located within a 4-minute walk from the town center.

  • There are balconies on some of our Standard King Rooms, Junior Suite 1 King and Junior Studio 2 Queens. All our Loft with Balcony Suites and Junior Studio 1 King Suites have balconies. Our Summit Grande Suite has a patio with firepit.

  • We have laundry facilities located in the parkade. We provide complimentary detergent but a wash and dry will cost $8.00. Stop by the Front Desk if you require coins.

  • You will find complimentary espresso pods, both caffeinated and decaffeinated and tea in your room. Also, by the Front Desk you will find the Aurora Room which has complimentary filter coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24/7.

Standard room

In your shower you have the option to use the shower head or the hand held shower wand.

A — Turn counter-clockwise for shower head and clockwise for hand held shower wand.

B – This control is for temperature. Turn the control counter-clockwise for hot water and clockwise for cold. There is a button at the bottom of this dial push this in and turn dial more to make water hotter.

If your room includes a bathtub, turning dial A counter-clockwise will turn on the bathtub faucet. Pull the diverter up to direct the water to the shower head.

Shower Instructions

Suite & Studio rooms

In your shower you have the option to use the shower head or the hand held shower wand. You will also have jets that are on your shower wall.

If you’re in a studio or a suite your shower has two controls one is for the jets and one for the shower.

A – Water pressure of the jets, turn counter-clockwise to turn on.

B – Temperature of water. Turn the control counter-clockwise for hot water and clockwise for cold. There is a button at the bottom of this dial. Push this in and turn dial further for higher temperature.

C — Turn counter-clockwise for shower head and clockwise for hand held shower wand.

D – This control is for temperature. Turn the control anti-clockwise for hot water and clockwise for cold. There is a button at the bottom of this dial. Push this in and turn dial further for higher temperature.

If your room includes a bathtub, turning dial C counter-clockwise will turn on the bathtub faucet. Pull the diverter up to direct the water to the shower head.

Lake Louise & Moraine Lake

Parking is extremely limited in the summer and fills up fast! Public transit is a great option to consider. The Parks Canada shuttles now require reservations and spaces are limited. Please speak to the concierge for further assistance.

Winter Activities

Skiing

Banff national park has 3 fantastic ski resorts. With one of the longest seasons in the country skiing is available from late October/early November until late May. Sunshine village, Lake Louise, and Mount Norquay are the three resorts within a 45 minute drive of the town. Please see the concierge if you have any questions as well as for trail maps, and suggestions/help with rental equipment.

Public transit is a great option to consider. The Parks Canada shuttles now require reservations and spaces are limited. Please speak to the concierge for further assistance.

Dog sledding

A fantastic winter activity in the Canadian Rockies. Dog sledding tours run out of Canmore or Lake Louise. Kingmik is the only dog sledding company that is running inside the national park. The other companies operate out of Canmore (20 minutes east). This is a very popular activity and often gets booked up quickly. Please speak to the concierge to avoid missing out!

Sleigh Rides

A great alternative to horseback riding in the summer is to take a sleigh ride in the winter! Banff trail riders offer public or private sleigh rides suitable for all ages. Please speak to the concierge for more details.
